Updates from Alumknights. Here's who we heard from in the recent "Y$2K" Alumknight fundraising letter, sent out just before Christmas 1999.
Marcia Lewis Chatlas lives in Tucson, Arizona.
Chris Smith works in Seattle but hangs out in Southern Idaho for fun.
Doug Zamzow lives in Boise.
John Sproul has been protecting and serving over 22 years. His current assignment is criminal investigations division, juvenile crime section. "Someday I'll get a real job."
Found out that Bishop Kelly had a website recently when I was checking out the stats on one of the new players on my FAVORITE basketball team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Clicking the name Cory Violette resulted in a whole foray into the online world of BK. I remember many of the people from the class of '69, although my family moved to Twin Falls in '67 late in my sophomore year at BK and it was the "land of Bruins" from which I graduated in '69.
I've been living on the East Coast ever since atttending law school at Georgetown U. in D.C. (Class of '76). Met my husband, a native of New Jersey who was doing his orthopaedic surgery residency at George Washington U. Medical Center, back here on the "Right Side" of the country and have been in the New Jersey suburbs about 20 miles West of NYC since '78. Yikes! That's a long time!
We have four children: Joe (22) is a senior at Embry Riddle Aeronautical U. in Florida pursing his love of aviation (he started flying at age 16, right around the same time as he got his driver's license). Elia (20) is a junior at Santa Clara University out West (yep! as a h.s. senior she chose to pass up an acceptance at Georgetown to attend college out West. SMART girl!) This year she transferred into Gonzaga's junior year abroad program in Florence, Italy and is having a wonderful time in Europe, after an equally exciting summer spent as an intern at NBC News assisting Brian Williams and Maria Shriver with Presidential Nominating Convention coverage. Cissy (18) is a freshman in college down in the Carolinas. And Alex (12) is a 7th grader whose interests never cease to amaze us -- in addition to the "usual athletic stuff" like playing football & lacrosse, he took up playing the bagpipes about a year ago and now is a PAID member of an otherwise all-adult bagpipe band. Ha! The LAST kid is always the GOTCHA!
We still get out to Idaho every year to ski -- we have a condo in Sun Valley and enjoy our time there as a slice of heaven on earth.
Add us to your mailing list for the irregular alumni newsletter. It would be fun to see what old BK classmates (especially the people who also went to St. Mary's Grade School) are up to!

Pic of kids attached ... obviously, I'm a proud parent!
To Pat Brady. Guess who else is 50? Or could that be 51. That 'ol gray haired guy, Rocky Thomas. Do you ever get to see him? Let me know how to get a hold of this other'ol fart Larry Szurgot. I sure think of you guys a lot. Bye for now.
Have been wondering about all of you for several years. Life has been good and interesting for me since I left BK. I was a Freshman, Soph, and Senior at BK. Dont know if anyone remembers but good to recognize a few names above. K.C.
Greetings All, Did the 40 year Dutch Goose reunion take place? Sorry, I was out of town at the time and couldn't make it. How about an annual one evening gathering from here on out? Any thoughts?
