| Hello - I haven't exactly been a practicing Catholic for several years (Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Easter are about it...with a daily dash of guilt trips thrown in for good measure), but boy has this great man's passing affected me. I kind of have a feeling he had a golden ticket into heaven and is in the suite with the hot tub, mini bar and best amenities at this moment, but I feel sorry for all those mourning his passing. It will be interesting to see where "the church" chooses to go from here, after his decades of leadership.
What do y'all think/feel? Hope this finds y'all happy and healthy...and in light of the events, thankful for the moment, our loved ones, and our Catholic background. Christine |
