Hopefully, as this site grows we will get more and more responses. If your address has changed in the last 5 years please type it here and we can update our list. We have a 30 year reunion in 5 years! Dave
Updates from Alumknights. Here's who we heard from in the recent "Y$2K" Alumknight fundraising letter, sent out just before Christmas 1999.
Gina Ansotegui Urquidi invites everybody to "Epi's," our new Basque restaurant in Meridian. She hopes to see all the AlumKnights there! She said to tell Dave that he is doing a great job, but she wonders if he is really old enough to be in charge!
Bryan Tillotson lives in Boise.
Toni Huerta Campanella lives in Boise and has a son Jeromy, Class of '98.
John Brady and wife Shirley live in Boise and have one son and four daughters. He is an independent sporting goods rep and travels the beautiful Northwest. He still plays golf as time allows.
Marianne Anderson Hickman has a daughter Jacqueline Class of '03. She says it is great to be back at school again and finds many traditions unchanged.
Mike Rust lives in Boise and sends a "Go Dave" message.
Eileen Leonard Diekemper graduated from Gonzaga University, married Phil Diekemper, and has two children, Jackelyn, 16 and Daniel, 12. She has lived in Seattle, Singapore, California, New Jersey and is currently in Naperville, Illinois. She is a basketball coach and tries to keep up with a hectic schedule.
Mary Gray Steiner lives in Oreana, Idaho.
Suzanne aka Sue Heffner aka Lombardi writes: Well, imagine my pride (Kelly pride, of course) when I saw that Dave Bruce is the president of the AlumKnights. I used to be in his carpool! I have had two very exciting news flashes. I am now a judge in Alaska, and I have a one-year-old son Robert James. Class of '75, write to say hello!
Nancy Jo Wilson Ferguson is still living in Wisconsin and working in Minneapolis/St Paul doing rehab counseling for a private firm. She has been married for 19 years with four teenage boys and enjoys golfing and spending time at their lake house in Northern Wisconsin woods and at Lake Superior. She still misses the mountains and wishes she had a Catholic high school like Bishop Kelly for her sons!
Hi all. So good to be back in BOI after so many years away from "home". I smile when I read all your excerpts of your life since May of 75'. I look forward to seeing and hearing from you all soon. Drop a line if you get chance.
G'Day to all '75-ers from beautiful, sunny, Sydney Australia. Was elated to open my weekly mail bag from the States to see the AlumKnights newsletter. Spent the better part of the evening reading each and every article (I'm a slow reader.) Best Wishes!
Great time of year to get all your classmates updated on what has happened in your life. Remember the AlumKnight golf tournament is coming up on October 6. Get a team put togather and come out and have fun. Speaking of updates, 2 kids that are both at St. Joe's. Andrew is a 1st grader and Nicole is a 6th grader. Both play soccer, and Nicole is on the club travel team. (There is a time consuming activity). Finally, this is probably the thing that will scare all of you, I am on the school board for St. Joe's! Good thing that past exploits from BK weren't published. Everything is going great. Hope to see a lot of posts to the board soon. Dave
JUST THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE A MINUTE OUT OF MY BUSY DAY AND SAY HELLO.
Dave, I will be playing in the BK golf tourney this Friday. It should be fun. I will be seeking my first hole in one. How about you? By the way I ran into Brad Knowlton up in Couer d'alene a couple months ago. He was smoking a cigarette and enjoying a cup of coffee before work one morning. I ran into him at a local food mart. Small world. I'll try and get his address for you.
Until next time,
John
PS Good luck to all classmates this Friday on the golf course. May the golfing gods be with you all.

Hey everyone, just did a search on the internet to make sure no one was after me and found the Missing In Action page with my name on it.... Sent an email with my current stats to the sysop. Am doing well, live in Atlanta but spend several weeks each month in San Fran. Spend most of my time doing research on technical things and photography.

JOHN BALLARD is in Boise! 208/859-9448 Have you read the ad board at Custom Pools in Garden City? That's John's words of wisom for us all. He is the big dog there. NO kids, NO wife (so far...), but (and I am sorry to dissapoint you John Brady) he has shot a HOLE IN ONE! He is still the best brother!
Finally found this site after several attempts. Terry Heffner told me about it. He works with me at Republic Mortgage here in Boise. He is a loan officer and I am Chief Underwriter. Have been back in Boise for 5 years now after a 13 year stay in N. California. I really enjoyed the 20-year reunion. I am amazed at all the classmates I come across in my line of work. It was great to get back together with good friends and former classmates, Ann (Van Hoomissen) and Stu Bixby. I have two children, Jessica, who is 19 and married, and Andrew, 14. Already have a beautiful granddaughter, Felicity. (I'm too young to be a grandma!) Anyway, fun to hear from everyone. Brings back pleasant memories of high school. Ruth
Hi everyone! Have really enjoyed reading the message board from fellow classmates. Had the great pleasure to see Sue Hefner Lombardi in Anchorage at the end of May. Stu goes to Anchorage and Fairbanks as part of his territory and I got to tag along. We all had a great time and the evening went by way too fast. Stu and I have been back in Boise (from Portland) for over 9 years. We have 2 daughters who go to St. Joe's. Emily is in the 6th grade and Jeannie is in the 3rd grade. We love to go to B.K.'s home football games, although I must confess that I like to go and talk to friends and Stu actually watches the games! They don't have a drill team anymore, but I bet half of us in the stands could go out there and show them a thing or two. I still have the drill team bunions to prove it! Hope this finds you all well and happy. Drop us a line! Ann

Just found out about the B.K. site this afternoon. Have had a lot fun reading. It's going to be nice to stay in touch with all of you. I will pass this site onto class mates that don't know of it yet. Bye for now.
Gracious, lots of time has passed since the last posting to this board so I thought I'd send in a note. Things are fine in Austin although I could use another couple of weeks added to my soon to end spring break. Still finding fossils. Got stranded in Java after 9/11 and we had to keep our heads down after that because of the Islamic extremists who call that island home. We then lost an engine out of Singapore which made for some excitment during the emergency landing. Helpenstell tells me the 747s he builds can fly with only one engine so I guess that is of some comfort. Worked in Ethiopia again this winter and got some good fossils along the Sudanese border. Lost something like 5 pickups on the trip which tells you loads about the general state of repair of vehicles in that country. One of my grad students got picked up by a border patrol after he wandered too close to their military camp but we sprung him after less than an hour and he was none worse for the wear of having four soldiers corner him with their AK47s off safety. He even somehow managed to not soil his drawers -- definitely PhD material. I don't know who was more surprised...who says paleontology isn't life in the fast lane? Things at home are busy with a 4 yr old (Abby) who wants to be a princess dancer paleontologist and a 2 yr old (Jack) who loves hoo hoos (trains) Aiming to get back to Nampa this summer to see the folks. Can the 30th reunion be that far away?
Does anyone know anything or the whereabouts of the BK teachers who ruled our lives for those four years?
Greetings fellow classmates one and all! What a surprise to find this site. I was searching for the alumni site to see the article about Dad and didn't realize this existed!!! What fun! I am still living in Ellensburg, WA and still doing the Mom-thing plus all the other odds and ends of occassional jobs and tons of volunteer work that go along with 4 kids (18, 15, 12, and 8) ! We had a rather difficult year this past year with our 3rd son being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Major illness is life changing! He is doing well and will be followed for the rest of his life but is with us and basically well. Losing Dad last month was difficult but he had suffered a long time and we are happy that he is at home and at peace. Blessings to you all! Would love to hear from any of you! Sue
Hi folks. I just happened upon this site and was glad to hear about you all. I'm still teaching high school at Gonzaga Prep school in Spokane. My husband and I have four kids, with our eldest daughter starting as a frosh at Notre Dame. What a class we were...look at where we've gone.
What a kick to read all these messages! I'm still in Boise, married with a two year old black lab. I have just become the aunt of TRIPLET baby boys -- born Oct. 28, 2002 at St. Luke's to my brother Kevin and his wife Katie (O'Sullivan). Totally amazing and wonderful. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Lost teachers: I located Sr. Leo Anthony who is living at Rosary Convent at St. Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana. She celebrated a Jubilee recently and her photo is online under a Holy Cross Sisters site. Sr. Jean LaLande is Prioress of St. Gertrude's Benedictines in Cottonwood, ID. Mrs. Kojes (ps?) Home Ec. teaches at Longfellow Elementary in Boise (where my sister is Principal). Fr. LaChance (Last Chance?) is a Pastorat a parish in Couer D'Alene, ID.
Hello to everyone. This site is a kick. I had a chance to visit Kelly over the Christmas holidays. So much the same, so much is different. Sorry to hear about Mr. Mitchell (Can you spell isosceles?). Also about Pat Russell. Prayers and thoughts to both families. I still Ann and Stu and they do a good job of keeping me updated. Had a blast from the past when I met Vicky House's daughter at a softball clinic. I have been married since 1982 and have two children, Jackelyn (20) and Daniel (15). I am now officially the shortest in the family, husband, Phil and the two kids range from 6'1" to 6'3" with Daniel still growing. Drop a line. We live in the greater Chicago area.
This past Nov. '03, I went to South Bend, IN, to watch a Notre Dame football game. I visited Sr. Leo Anthony at the Rosary Convent there on the campus of St. Mary's. She looks the same...and has the same sharp mind. She recalled wanting to take a movie of some student physics seminars(?) and that the school wouldn't come up with the funds for the film. She sighed..and commented that the football program took films each week of games.
Mark told me about this site. How exciting!! I have been married for 19 years. We have 4 kids but no grandkids: Erika - 28, Scott - 25, Elena - 15, and Josh - 4. With our surprise package, we said God certainly had a sense of humor of being parents again in our 40's!! We live in Estes Park, CO next to Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park - heaven's zip code. I am a registered nurse specializing in pediatrics in a hospital setting, a nursing instructor, and volunteer as a nurse at a medical indigent clinic. My husband is a professor at Regis University in Denver. His favorite hobby is writing/recording music. Our newest hobby is sailing. We also lead a couple's bible study in our home. Other than that, we lead a hectic and busy life.
God Bless to everyone. Would love to hear from you. Loretta <><

Not much has happened on our 30 year reunion. I would certainly entertain doing something, but the clock is ticking. Please let me know if you see this and perhaps we can collectively develop an e-mail tree and get peopel involved.

On Friday night, we can meet at Bar Gernika downtown on the Basque Block located at 202 S Capitol Blvd around 5-5:30pm and the # is 344-2175. Then off to the Homecoming game against Emmett which starts at 7pm. The cost of the game is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for HS Kids and $2.00 of Elementary. Was so excited to hear about a reunion, am still in Kansas City, but will definitley be there. Is Judge Heffner planning on attending? Anything I can help with Stu? Wish there was something exciting I could share, well I did win the $100,000.00 power ball last Wednesday!! Yippee, drinks on me!!
Received a call this evening about the reunion etc. and just looked up this board. Terri and I are great or about as good as two people can be after all these years, kids and now grand kids. Is it just me or does life have a way of kicking your ... Anyway, we keep busy running a small printing business and Terri works part-time for St. Luke's. When we're not working or attending family functions, we enjoying sailing together with the family and friends. This was interesting to read some postings and looking foward to catching up with everyone at the reunion. Steve & Terri Medley
Hi Everyone, Ann and I are looking forward to the Reunion. 30 years! Where as it gone? Got a few ideas but this is on the BK website. Should be a great time! Come as you are and have some fun! See everyone soon.
I'm helping Stu and Ann make calls for the 30th. Since we won't have an alumni book with current names and addresses and updated information about everyone, use this message board to tell us about what you've been up to for the past 10, 20 or 30 years.
You can purchase BK Wear at the Bishop Kelly office or at the Homecoming game. BK Wear is available in sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweat pants , and polo shirts. We also carry baseball hats, visors, beanies, scarf's and gloves. BK Wear is on display in the glass case next to the office at Bishop Kelly.
You may also contact Terri Black at 323-7163 or email terblk@aol.com
Also it looks as firm as it will be (we have a go-no go decision based on valley air quality on the day of) that we will resurrect the traditional homecoming bonfire. It will be at Wednesday the 5th of October. Alumni are welcomed. Kenny will still light the fire with a flaming arrow at 8 p.m. Just three days after the new moon it will be a dark night. The band will perform and the pep club will teach BK cheers. Add it as an option on your reunion timeline.
Got the e-mail this a.m. about the up and coming reunion planned for the 2nd weekend in October. Are you nuts! That is opening day of Chukars in Oregon. Unfortunately, I have half of the Bank and some clients showing up for a weekend of spankin' (and I don't mean the wives!).
I will be there for the Friday evening gala, but sorry Dave, going to pass on the golf. The first admission of age is golf and purchasing an ATV.
Jerry Campo! Willy Hedrick! Gawd, it would be great to see you guys! Spoke to George McDonough this a.m. If anyone knows of some migrant workers looking for work, have them call Georgie! He lost most of his labor force last week when they misplaced their Green Card(s).....because they never had one probably.
Hey Everyone! One more week to go. Please note the changes in the following message that should be the FINAL draft of our 30 year Reunion October 7,8 & 9. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Stu and Ann

Damn (sorry Fr. Wilson) Molly Records I cannot believe your luck - first you have the most handsome husband in the world and now you are at the store buying milk, vodka or whatever and now you are a millionairess - and I thought being a judge was cool - forget it - you won. I want to come so bad - if you are setting up a fund for poor Alaskans that have the same financial luck as those in the Lousiana Superdome please let me know - Pardon me - what is this about grandkids - you must write me and tell me what is going on - Treeta are you there - MaryAnn - Terry , etc. WRITE
Hi, all, it was great to hear from Stu. I wish I could be at the reunion but it's 99% sure that I'll be at the coast that weekend. Life has been interesting and always changing. I'm still a nurse in lovely Washington state. The kids are growing and I'm down to one at home, unbelieveable! Well raising teens was more like living in Dante's inferno because, dammit, they figured out I didn't know what I was doing. But they really have been great and they really do love me... my love and best wishes to all...Mary
Got a call from Stu and MaryAnn about all the goings on and decided to check it out. Must say I think it all sounds like fun. Bummer about the bon fire I was really looking forward to that. I think I will show up for the game because I don't remember any of the ones from the 70"s. Should be fun. Heff I can't believe you are a Judge I am good friends with Ann Shepard and she says you guys Had some great times at U of I. Molly R. congrats on the big lotto win I'm glad drinks will be on you. I live in Boise- Have 2 kids at Borah- work for Boise Schools with special ed. high school kids at Timberline. I'm sure some of you will think that's right up my alley. (smile) Anyway -see ya all next week Molly
It's been fun reconnecting with my former classmates. Those of you who I left messages on your answering machines, please RSVP to the message board, or call me at (208)344-3080 so we will know if you can attend any of the functions. I plan to be at all 3, so hopefully I'll get to catch up with most of you. I've been living in Boise since graduation, just had my 25th wedding anniversary last spring, Jacqueline graduated from B.K. in 2003 and is a junior at BSU majoring in Elementary Ed, Natalie is in the 5th grade at St. Joe's. I work part time as a CPA, and the rest of my time is spent keeping track of my family and learning to play golf.
I can make it to the reunion !!! I am *so* excited! Marianne just read a list of people who will be attending and i decided i just couldn't miss this. I plan to go to all the events, except the golf thing. Thanks Stu for getting in touch with me a few weeks ago; it's people like you and the others who have been working on this that make these events happen. I live in Loveland Colorado and have lost touch with nearly everyone - an occasional call or visit with Marianne. Kevin won't be able to make it - someone has to hold down the fort. We have been married 23 years; our twin boys, Brian and Tom, are in their 3rd year at CSU and our youngest Steven is a Sr. in high school. My parents are still in Boise so we visit once or twice a year. I only recently discovered this message board and loved reading all of your notes. Loretta - we're only a few miles apart! We go thru Estes Park often. One of our sons attended Regis U for a year. Are you going to come to the reunion? Kappelman - a dad!? Wow! Helpenstell, maybe we can carpool to the event? You could pick up a few of us out-lyers (how do you spell that?)in your Boeing... like Sue Hefner, Eileen, Nancy Jo, me, etc. I can't wait to see y'all. Please forgive me if i don't recognize you at first. Of course, i haven't changed a bit - Ha! Sue
You would think that as much time as I spend on Alumni related items and time at BK, that I woyuld check this and see that I was supposed to do something. Stu, I think you have me counted in, but just in case. Spoke with Norm and Rick and neither will be able to attend. Rick is off to Europe, and Norm travels back and forth on a weekly basis from the Dallas area to Little Rock.
30 years! What the hell happened, other than I lost my hair! Now you all know why I had long hair in high school, because I could!
Two children, a 6th grader at St. Joe's, (boy), and a junior at BK, (girl).
Married to the same person for 20 years.
Stil work for U.S. Bank, don't know how that happened either! Never thought I would be a banker.
Hope to see eveyone at the game and for the rest of the weekend.
Oh my, Oh my.... I'm going to try. I'm not at the coast or off the mainland. Real life just gets in the way sometimes. So tempting, yet mucho terrifying at the same time. I relish that the roles have switched (in a sick and twisted way). I have my Master's and have been working in the drug & alcohol field, with a passion for meth interventions. (And we thought pot was bad, now it's Rx pills and funny little rocks that melt). Very Freudian, ahhh, the stories I could tell, but then there's that confidentiality and ethics thing!!! On the fun side I do tattoos, something like Interventions in Ink. Makes me visualize a crazy old crone standing at her caldren, stirring the pot with a crooked smile. ...j...
I WILL BE ATTENDING THE REUNION, AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE.I WOULD TYPE MORE BUT I FAILED TYPING IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IT HAS CARRIED OVER ONTO MY COMPUTER SKILLS.(EST TIME OF THIS E-MAIL 15 MIN.)
Hello OLD friends! Yes, we will be in Boise, arriving late Friday night. Because of limited time with our families, we will be attending Sat evening festivities only. I am looking forward to seeing so many of you! A quick summary; Andy and I are looking forward to our 25th anniversary, which has gifted us with two sons. A.J. is age 22 and Drew age 23, and YES two grandchildren via our oldest son, the artist in the family. We are now “Nana and Tops.” Got to love it! Nothing grand about the two of us but being grandparents is truly the greatest experience of our lives. A.J. is our youngest son and is finishing his Senior year up at U of I. In between beer bongs, his major is Biology, with minors in chemistry and psychology. I believe he is still trying to figure out if we are his real parents. Is everyone smiling yet? Andy and I are living in Gold River, CA, for at least the next four years, but have kept our property in Boise. I tell everyone here that we are on a five-year vacation, because I am truly an Idaho girl at heart and to state that I am a Californian would put a permanent “hitch in my giddy-up!” I am still trying to figure out how to download “Rawhide” as my cell phone ringer. Maybe one of you can help me out. Once again, I’m looking forward to seeing all of you again. And Molly, since you are now a millionairess, would you please send Judge Sue a ticket? We may need her to get us out of trouble. Can’t wait to see you!
Stopped by the bonfire looking to see if I recognized any one. Didn't see a soul I knew or thought I knew. Any way hope to see a few of you folks on friday at the game. If not, good luck for the next thirty years.

Hey everyone - we had a great time at the BK football game last night - and had to test our knees as we climbed to the top of the bleachers for our seats! Looking forward to seeing more classmates at Louie's tonight- don't need reservations - come at 6:30 - open bar - (Larry Koomler said first round is on him!) See you there!
Well I am waiting to hear all the news from the reunion weekend. What is this what happens in Boise stays in Boise? Sorry I was not able to come this time, but am bound and determined to come to one of them. Dave, sorry to hear about your Mom, she was such a class lady. We still live in greater Chicago. Our two children are keeping us going. Jackelyn is 21 and a senior at Illinois. She is finishing her fourth year on the softball team. She works with Wes Worrel at Kelly over the Christmas break working out and giving softball clinics to the area girls. Daniel,17 is eating us out of house and home. He is playing football and is still growing. He is starting to think about college. My folks celebrated their 50th wedding anniversry this past August. We see Ann and Stu fairly often and they keep us up to date. If you get to Chicago stop by.
Okay computer silence...is not a good thing. I haven’t checked this site since the reunion but was hoping that someone would have posted some comments and/or pictures. Eileen, sorry that you were not able to attend the festivities. It would have been fun to have seen you as well as many others that did not have the opportunity to attend. Because of your post and my unimpressive short stint as a reporter for the Knightbeat, I will try to recollect some of my favorite moments to share with you and others regarding the dinner that I was fortunate enough to have attended. And yes, I challenge the others that attended the various different functions to share their favorite memories.
Favorite comment came from John Brady, “Lisa I don’t remember you being blonde.” I had to take the time (I hope that all of the other women forgive me for giving away one of our secrets) to explain a truism that comes with our age. I had to inform John that indeed I wasn’t blonde but that I was going gray and trying to hide it by slowing going platinum. Are you smiling?
Stu Bixby truly has missed his calling as a comedian. He had all of us falling out of our seats with his pantomime impressions of old teachers, and it took only seconds for everyone to figure out which teacher it was. Ann VanHoomissen Bixby’s stories of herself as the “lunch lady” at Bishop Kelly complimented her husbands’ comedic skills, and somehow with her impeccable dress and demeanor as well as the perfect manicure, I had an extremely hard time imaging her with a hairnet. Although, it is important to admit feeling a bit envious that someone like her wasn’t in charge of the program when we were there. Humm, does anyone still have found memories of flipping some kind of so-called food substance onto the cafeteria ceiling and do you wonder if it is still there?
Laurie Davidson still has the greatest most contagious laugh out of all, as well as one of the cutest daughters in the world named “Cakes.” Molly Thometz proved that education isn’t necessarily the greatest thing when it comes to being one of the “worlds best chefs”. She has the resume to prove this title. It has now become a curse that every restaurant will mess up her dinner order. Molly, I still remember the phenomenal eight layer cake that was you grandmothers’ recipe and which you mastered at the age of 16, and now at the age of 48, I’m still stuck baking the one layer cake! Help...I need lessons. I believe that Ruth Elston has the most grandkids and in keeping with the pride of grandmomdom, she had a lot of beautiful pictures to share with everyone. Sue Rinker gets the award for the best “before the swan days” photos. However, back in the old Sacred Heart days, she was still the best looking one in the bunch and I believe at our age can still hold onto that award. She looks incredible! Dave Bruce is truly an inspiration with all of his continued community involvement. As my husband stated, (he knows Dave’s BIG brothers), Dave is a tribute to the BMOC award. That stands for “big man on campus.” Keep up the good work Dave! Larry Fisher shared the best “old St Joe’s stories” and Laurie Davidson verified their accuracy through pure laughter. Tom Smith really needs to come to the next reunion in order to properly defend (I guess he knows all about the legal system now) his innocence. And, Larry, a quick question, do you ever publish any of these stories? And if the answer is yes, where can I subscribe? Laurie Bresnahan gets the sweetness award because I believe she is still the one of the kindest human beings I have ever met in my life and Nick Brunelle is one of the luckiest to have married her. Maryann Anderson gets the tenacious award. She is now an accountant by trade and after experiencing her persistence in tracking some of us down for the reunion, I now believe that if anyone is looking for a tax accountant, hire her immediately! Sheila Donavan proved that spiritually endures, still exists, and she is brave enough to continue influencing the young and upcoming spiritual leaders of tomorrow. Thank God for people like her! Mark Helpensteil proved to me that I do have early Alzheimer’s, because it took me over an hour to remember his last name. Are you smiling Mark? James Hansen has an iron trap Sacred Heart memory. And Mary Jane Gray may have lost her ponytail but not her beautiful smile. TJ Byrne grew up to be tall and handsome. Bill “Willie” Hedrick has an “ever so cool” soul patch. Bryon Tillotson made a brief appearance and is alive and doing well!
Because of early Alzheimer’s and not being the greatest Knightbeat reporter, I am sure I have forgotten something or someone. Forgive me for misspellings and grammatical errors. It is now ever so apparent that I shouldn’t have slept so much during those English classes. I appeal to those that were there and those that were not to continue to add on. Hey Stu and Ann . . . pictures would be great! Just remember that even though most of us have gone in different directions, I know I am not alone in stating that the time we have spent together is forever special.
Thanks again to Stu, Ann, Maryann, Dave and anyone else who helped in organizing the reunion. Memories, although some times stored on the back shelf, are always fun to bring back out and experience them as if it was just yesterday. Here’s to all of our “OLD” friends that were there and to those who couldn’t make it! It was GREAT to see you again or at least hear from you via the message board. Remember . . . Computer silence is not golden! I hope that we do not have to wait for another 5-10 years to have people post on this site again! Take care everyone!
Thanks to Lisa for the entertaining summary of our reunion. Last fall I was glued to the message board every time I logged onto the computer to see if anyone had written any comments. I checked it occasionally after the reunion and missed the activity. Guess I haven't checked it since February since I just discovered Lisa's message today. Stu please forward or if possible post pictures of the reunion to the board. It still makes me smile as I remember seeing all of you last October.
Okay, we now have one more year behind us. Based on the enjoyment of our 30 year reunion by a small, but very fun crowd, we need to start thinking about a 35 year reunion. Considering how fast the past year went, it will be here a lot sooner than you think! Perhaps we do a cruise or something different to get a great gathering? Think about it, and post things on this site.
Lisa - thanks for all your great reflections on our 30 year reunion - you did well and how wonderful it was to see you and your husband. I am no longer at BK, and have moved up to the Big House - the Diocese office! I work for the Idaho Catholic Register as the Advertising/Business manager. It's a great job and a very nice place to work, although I miss the energy of the kids at BK and knowing who my daughter's friends are. Our reunion dinner night went by too quickly - and Dave, you're entirely correct when you said in your post that our 35 yr reunion will be here in a blink of an eye. A cruise? OK - we're there. I went to the Memorial Mass for Father Wilson and it was lovely. Bishop Mike Driscoll spoke of Father Wilson as a true friend and Dave Lachiondo made a great point that if we enjoyed what was happening at BK - then we should thank Father Wilson. The odds were certainly against him in the early 70's. Keep in touch!!!
Lisa - laughed out loud reading your report of the reunion (yeah, 15 months later!)... Big smiles! Hope everyone is well - Happy New Year going into 2007! I'm still living on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. Anybody coming this way, get in touch! The beer is cold (so's the water), and the fishing is sometimes pretty darn good!
Wondering why I didn't here about the 30th reunion? Am always in Boise, guess it was just for the populat ones. Guess we missed our 35th!! How sad, maybe our 36th. Probably one of the few of our classmates that is not a grandparent. Hope everyone is well!
