Mark Dean lives in Boise.

I have to report some bad news. Our classmate Robert Pletcher died on December 11, 2002 in San Diego. Fr. Faucher will be offering a Mass for Robert at St. Mary's on Sat. evening, Jan. 18, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. Pass the word, please to all his Boise friends.
Chris or anyone who has information...I am very sorry to hear about Robert Pletcher. He, his brother George and David lived just two doors down from my family growing up. The boys used to babysit me and my sibs. Any more information available? I checked the Statesman for an obit but could not find. Thank you, my family would like to know...and his dad? Is he still near? Thanks a lot, Christine Bubb
Hi Christine: George and his wife still live in Boise and they could give you the most detailed information about the family. Robert discovered some serious heart valve trouble last spring and eventually did not recover after a number of surgeries. On of the many devastating things was that he had been very fit and active even relatively recently. Also, his father died in 2001, so the family has had a double loss. I'm sure George would like to hear from you. I'm glad someone saw this. Good wishes to you and your family.
WOW! I was just playing around. Wanted to see if BK had a website. One thing led to another & here I am. I'm not missing. I live in Hawaii and I think it would be great to get in touch with some of my old partners in crime. My email is blaze9550@aol.com ..... Make sure to put a message in the re: or subject: line of email or it may get deleted if not recognized ... Aloha!
Teresa: It looks like you and I are the only classmates from '74 with computers. It's nice to hear about you. Are you really in Hawaii or just trying to impress those of us who never really left the nest? I'm still in Boise about two blocks from where I grew up and have only seen Hawaii in travel magazines and 5-0 reruns. (I have neighbors from Hawaii, though.) I'll by a beer for the next five people who post a message. Let's see if anyone's out there.
I was trying to get some more information about Robert and saw your posts Chris. I don't think Terry knows so I will forward the info. on to him. By the way, he DOES have a computer and really does need some practice replying to emails. :-) His email address is: t.r.russell@att.net Take care all........kathy
The Great "Hardmack" here wondering if anyone remembers what a tsetse fly is. Thanks for the information, Chris. I'll take a Moose Druel. P.S. to my sister: See you soon!
One Moose (Drool...Druel...Drewl...?) coming up. Russ-butt, great to hear from you (or great to read from you)! My tse-tses are safe and sound in Boise, Terry. I see your brother, Mike, fairly regularly at St. Joe's and Kathy and I cross paths now and then. If anything brings you to town this summer, give me a ring and we'll turn the Moose loose.
I was in Boise this weekend and saw BK had a website, so I looked it up and found the message board. I live in Salt Lake City, but come up to work at St. Luke's once in a while. I ran into Margaret Cragin here while taking one of my sons for an eye dr. appointment. Small world. Teresa Szurgot, how are you? You must be living right to be in Hawaii. And I ended up in Salt Lake City? Something's not right here! It's nice to hear from all of you. I hope more people find this website.
Aloha Jan, I was in Boise for few weeks ago too. Surprised my family on Mother's Day. I got off the plane and just showed up at the restaurant where about 35 of my relatives had gotten together for dinner. It was fun! My daughter, grand daughter and my mother were pretty surprised. How do you like Salt Lake City? My son & daughter-in-law live there. They're expecting their first in August. Too bad more people don't know about this site - Isn't it ???? Who else is out there ?
Hi folks, Don't know if any of you guys remember me. I was the shy, quiet one. I'm now living in Denver, CO with my husband and dog. My bothers and sisters, who still live in Boise, told me about the BK website. Thought I'd check it out to see if there's going to be a 30th high school reunion this year (2004). Let me know. I'll be in Boise for my niece's graduation in May at BK.
Aloha, It's me again. I check this out every now and then. Hi, Ronni - I was beginning to think I was the only one that checks it. I also want to know if there is gonna be a reunion. I'm gonna be back in town at the end of August. The week of the fair. If anyone knows please post it .... THANX !!!!!
Dear Alums, I was cleaning the other day and I came across my alum magazine from 2002. Now it is Saturday and I have discovered this message board. I have never replied at all to any thing sent my way,but today I told myself "what the heck". I am living in Virginia Beach,a bicycle ride away from the beach. I reside with my long suffering husband Bob and our two teenagers,Cory my daughter ( just turned 16) and Rory my son( 13, the newest teen in the house). I have been here since 1978. I read all the postings. I did not know about Robert. I have some great memories of Robert going back to grade school. He was so smart. Anyway, I do remember the tse-tse fly stuff. In fact I have on occasion told stories of the funny skits to my children. I hope to here from somebody. I have lots more stuff to tell about my life here if anyone wants to know. It is nothing like Idaho at all. In the meantime, take care. Teresa
Hi Everyone. Just found this link and was happy to read everyones messages. It's been a long time since I've seen some of you. I have to run but will check back when I have more time. Take care, Vicki
Hi chris, Teresa, Ronni, Teresa, Vicki, and anyone else I forgot. What a blast from the past to find this site and read your messages. Amazing how we seem to either stay close to home or move far away. I lived in Virginia Beach many years ago, visited Hawaii several times, traveled to Denver on business often and now also live in Salt lake City with my family consisting of my wife and 4 children. Hope this finds you all doing well. It will be interesting to keep somewhat in touch. Best Regards Jeno
Hi everybody! This is Marla Evanich England. I now live in Portland Oregon have been since the last 20 years or so. Have a 25 year old daughter and a 4 year old grandson. I am a bakery manager for Albertsons here. Stumbled on this web site by accident. Anyone out there remember me? The quiet one who didn't say much....Marla
How nice to hear of each and every one of you. What a surprise to come upon this website!
I, my husband, Jerry, and two daughters live in Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa. We visited Boise two summers ago and had a wonderful time; Boise looks beautiful! We were there on a summer day, and enjoyed the fragrance of the cottonwoods and the Boise River. We saw Chris Bieter briefly at a Basque Picnic in the park; he looked terrific and has the same great laugh and smile!
I have enjoyed visiting the message board lately. I moved to Arizona in April of 2005. Am enjoying the SUN and HOT weather...so different than the hot days of Boise...love to hear from someone...
WOW!!!! Amazing what you find when you are bored and Google yourself!!! Hey Everybody!! This is great! I am living in Missouri, close to Branson, for the last 8 years or so, before that, Chicago, before that, Saskatoon, Sask. Marla, you disappeared off the face of the earth many, many years ago, glad to retouch base with you, my little friend. Patty, You are not too far from me, hope things are well. Judge Beiter.. I actually thought you might be President one day, but hey, we are still young!! Could anyone please fill me in on our different classmates that have died? I am a breast cancer survivor of four years, actually, I survived, the left breast did not, but I was always a little off balance so this is working for me! I work as a Pet Nurse, raise Yorkshire Terriers, am a glass artist, and live in a log cabin on 15 acres in the middle of nowhere!! Hmmm. I would love to hear from ya'all.. I can say it like that, I am a certified redneck!! Karen
